John E. Lagner, D.M.D.

Dr. Lagner grew up in Warwick, Rhode Island where he received his B.A. from Rhode Island College. He received his Doctor of Medical Dentistry (D.M.D.) degree from the University of Connecticut, followed by a general dentistry residency at SUNY Stony Brook. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Lagner worked in Dr. Bonomo's practice for three years before assuming ownership of the practice.

The smooth transition of ownership from Dr. Bonomo to Dr. Lagner enabled Dr. Lagner to maintain the same level of care and compassion that the patients of the practice have always been accustomed to. When not in the office, Dr. Lagner serves as an assistant clinical professor at SUNY Stony Brook Dental School in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program. He and his colleagues teach new residents current and advanced topics in general dentistry in a clinical setting.

Dr. Lagner is an active member and current President of the Suffolk County Dental Society, as well as the chairman of the New Dentist Committee. Under his leadership, this Committee's goals are to promote the advancement of superior standards and professionalism in all aspects of the field of dentistry. Dr. Lagner is highly skilled and experienced in providing the latest, most advanced dental treatments, including CEREC 3 and laser procedures for effective results with less pain.

Dr. Lagner and his wife Donna have two girls, Taylor and Cassandra, and one son, Jack. They recently moved to East Northport where they look forward to becoming active members of their community.

Robin S. Kozlowski, D.D.S.

Dr. Kozlowski received her B.S. from SUNY Albany, before completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree at the SUNY Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated first in her class. She then furthered her knowledge by completing an Advanced Education of General Dentistry residency, also at the Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine.

Striving to remain on the cutting edge of the latest dental technology, Dr. Kozlowski is trained and certified in providing advanced services such as Laminates, Sirona CEREC 3 and the Sirona SIRO laser.

After completing her dental training, Dr. Kozlowski practiced under Dr. Kathy Stanislaw in East Setauket, before joining East Northport Smiles in 2005. Here she provides a wide range of cosmetic, restorative and surgical services, including single visit CEREC crowns and onlays, dental implants, oral surgery and endodontics, among others.

Dr. Kozlowski is the recipient of several awards for her advanced dental work, including from the Long Island Academy of Odontology, Academy of General Dentistry and the Dental Care for Developmentally Disabled Award.

Dr. Kozlowski recently moved to Locust Valley with her husband and two children. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, exercising, cooking and reading.
