Meet the Dentists
Dr. John Lagner
Dr. Lagner brings over thirty years of experience to his dental practice. He is a compassionate and kind dentist who is deeply integrated into his community. Dr. Lagner graduated from University of Connecticut Dental School and completed his AEGD from SUNY Stony Brook. He continues his connection to Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine as a professor in the department of General Dentistry. Dr. Lagner is a major contributor to organized dentistry. He is a present NY State Dental Association delegate, Past President of the Suffolk County Dental Society and a past ADA delegate. He enjoys fishing, hunting and golfing when not in the operatory.
Dr. Elise Kaufman
Dr. Elise Kaufman offers thorough, personalized, and compassionate care in a warm and welcoming environoment. She is a third generation dentist, following in the footsteps of her father-in-law. Dr. Kaufman graduated Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine and began her clinical career serving veterans at the Northport VA. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Kaufman is the mother of two young children and enjoys baking, skiing, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Sawsan Shukri
Dr. Shukri completed her dental training at Stony Brook School of Dental Medecine. She has spent several years serving as a dentist on the Shinnecock Reservation and has been a longstanding member of the East Northport Smiles team. Dr. Shukri enjoys traveling, Jazz, and spending time with her three grandchildren.
